Collection: Paulo Siqueira Artist Biography and Art Gallery Collection

Paulo Siqueira is a Brazilian Comic Book Penciller, Layout Artist, Colorist, Inker, Artist, Cover Artist, and Variant Cover Artist, who has been drawing for Marvel Comics since the 1990's. He has worked on such titles as Birds of Prey, The Amazing Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel and Lady Death. Born in 1982, he lives and works in Santos, Brazil, the town of his birth, located about one hour from São Paulo. As a child he loved Saturday morning cartoons like He-Man, Super Friends, Thundercats, Dungeons & Dragons, Spider-Man and His Friends, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and The Simpsons. Paulo Siqueira began collecting comics around age 11 and read all the comic book icons like Superman, Spider-Man, Batman, Hulk, X-Men, etc. He started by first drawing the Simpsons and later the rest of his favorite comic book characters. After a few years of practice he got his big break and started working professionally. His earliest work can be seen on the covers and interior pages of many Comic Book issues under the Avatar banner such as Pandora, Tundra, Gypsy, Belladonna, Shi and Lady Death. He then worked at DC Comics for about two years, working on titles such as Birds of Prey, Black Canary, JLA Classified and Jonah Hex. Currently he works at Marvel Comics having recently worked on Ms. Marvel and now I get the chance to work with his favorite comic boo character, The Amazing Spider-Man. Currently, the artwork of Paulo Siqueira is credited in 169 separate Comic Book issues.
