Alexander Borewko is an Israeli Artist born in Minsk, Belarus in 1960, who is known for his unique style of painting in watercolor and oil with rich texture employing a delicate balance between color, light, subject matter, and composition. While studying architecture Alexander Borewko engaged in restoration of Russian works of art from the middle ages. In the late 1990's he left Belarus and settled in Paris where he was inspired by the work of the impressionists. His favorite themes are streets of Paris with landscapes and flowers because most people have only seen this is the city seen through the eyes of many artists: Renoir, Monet, Hugo, Proust, Gauguin, Lautrec, and more. The Artwork of Alexander Borewko is very reminiscent of Andre Renoux and is displayed in Galleries throughout the world.
