Collection: Brad Walker Artist Biography and Art Gallery Collection

Brad Walker is best known for his recent work on Heroes For Hire and Marvel's cosmic titles The Thanos Imperitive and Guardians of the Galaxy. His other art credits include: Actions Comics, Age of Heroes, The Avengers, Batman: War Drums, Batman: Legends of the Dark Night, and many others. His father was in the Air Force, so he grew up all over the country. Brad Walker started drawing at an early age, probably 3 or 4 years old, while living in Chicago and they used to show the old 60's Spider-Man cartoon there. He watched it religiously and that was one of the first things he learned to draw. While in Middle School Brad Walker started reading Comic Books and decided than and their to become a Comic Book Artist.

Brad Walker attended the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia where they had a program for Sequential Art, a major is specific to comic books and story boarding. While living in New York, one of his professors convinced him to accompany him on a visit to DC Comics. He got to show some of his work to members there on the Batman Group who were impressed by what they saw. After many calls he began his career in 2004 working for DC Comics on the title Detective Comics. Later on he worked on titles such as Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, Manhunter, Birds of Prey, Nightwing and many more.

Brad Walker was eventually hired by Marvel Comics and worked on titles such as Guardians of the Galaxy, The Thanos Imperative, Heroes for Hire and a few more. Most recently, Walker has been working for DC on the titles Green Lantern: New Guardians and Sinestro. The artwork of Brad Walker is currently credited in 193 separate Comic Book issues.
