The Israeli Expressionist Artist Dorit Levi has created a unique style, forged of her artistic vision and wealth of personal experiences. From her Yemenite upbringing emerges the joyous dance of her figures painted in lively colors. The years Dorit Levi lived in Uganda with it's vast savannas and colorful markets permeate her drawings with warm bright colors mixed with the flow and movement of vibrant figures. The influences of Boulange, Picasso, Leger, and Braque are also evident in her lyrical style. Using different focal points inside the same drawing Dorit Levi reveals diverse aspects and configurations, with new possibilities unfolding constantly.
