Tom Ray was an Animation Artist and Director during the Golden Age of Cartoon Animation, who got his start at Warner Bros Cartoons in 1937. He became a Master Animator in the Robert McKimson and at the Chuck Jones unit, where he co-directed Adventures of the Road Runner and several Bugs Bunny Show episodes. Over seven decades, the credits of Tom Ray include the animation on Pink Panther shorts, Ralph Bakshi's animated movies Heavy Traffic and Coonskin; Chuck Jones TV Specials, numerous Filmation Associates and Hanna Barbera series; Warner Bros Tiny Toons Adventures and Animaniacs; and Sunbow Productions Transformers and Garfield and Friends working into the 1990's. Tom Ray passed away in 2010.
