Lindsay Dawson is an internationally collected American painter best known for his idealized impressionistic paintings of women and children in beach and garden settings, and romantic (usually retrospective) Americana scenes. His subject matter is often romantic, sentimental, or nostalgic. Lindsay Dawson's paintings have a unique style (at times almost naïve) that tend to have a simple innocence that transports the viewer into another world, often that of childhood memories. In addition to his individual art collectors, major corporations, including Blue Shield Insurance, Nabisco, Cadbury, Schweppes, Pac Bell, Cingular Wireless and Toyota, have also purchased his artwork.
