Herb Brown paints expressionist masterpieces, with wild, loose brush strokes and vivid colors, are sure to be the highlight of any collection. His career path was not always artistic until he entered the Boston Museum School and Brooklyn Museum School, where he designed and painted stage sets. His style of art dramaticaly changed when Herb Brown studied under the German Objectivist Max Beckmann from 1949 to 1952. His studio burned down in 1966 and he lost about 900 works. In 1970 his art returned back to the time when he painted theatre sets.  Herb Brown exhibited his original pieces all over the country until he passed away 2011.
