Zamy Steynovitz created sweet, romantic artwork employing soft, sweeping brush strokes and a delicate color palette, reminiscent of the Marc Chagall. His art reflects his Israeli heritage with Eastern European and Jewish themes and folklore, but Zamy Steynovitz also employed other subjects in his art, such as still-lifes, flowers, angels, landscapes and circuses. He evoked a universal humanistic idea in his creations and that is man’s connection to his heritage and physical surroundings.
