Warner Bros Looney Tunes Animator and Director Friz Freleng introduced and/or created several of the Studio's cartoon characters, including Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Tweety Bird, Sylvester the Cat, Yosemite Sam and Speedy Gonzales. Friz Freleng and David H DePatie founded DePatie-Freleng Enterprises, which produced television cartoons (notably The Pink Panther Show), feature film title sequences, and other Saturday morning cartoons through the early 1980's. The animated TV series, The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries, and the Oscar winning cartoon, From Hare to Eternity (the last film directed by Chuck Jones), were both dedicated to the memory of Friz Freleng.
