Zamy Steynovitz, with soft, sweeping brush strokes and a delicate color palette reminiscent of the artist Marc Chagall, he created sweet, romantic artwork as is evident in this Serigraph. Although his artwork frequently reflects his adopted Israeli heritage with it's featured Eastern European and Jewish themes and folklore, Zamy Steynovitz was also inspired by other subjects, such as his time in South America and Paris, still lifes, and landscapes. Much of the evolution in his work was related to his use of color and texture, with brighter and more vivid hues and contrasts. Sadly, the artist Zamy Steynovitz passed away at a young age in September 2000, leaving behind a prodigious body of work that is extremely collectible and sought after.
