His first works at Marvel Comics were on Alpha Flight, Punisher: War Journal, and illustrating on Uncanny X-Men. He then became the penciler on a new X-title simply called X-Men in 1991 that became the best selling comic book of all time. After Marvel Jim Lee helped form Image Comics. His own division, Wildstorm Productions, produced numerous hits including Wildcats, Deathblow, Team 7, Stormwatch, and Gen 13. In 1996, he returned to work at Marvel Comics and produced Heroes Reborn. Not long after, Jim merged his division with DC Comics, where most recently, he has teamed up with writer Jeff Loeb on a fantastic Batman run for DC Comics.
