Collection: Stephen Segovia Artist Biography and Art Gallery Collection

Stephen Segovia is a Filipino Comic Book Artist, Illustrator, Graphic and Concept Designs Artist, born 1983 in Muntinlupa, Philippines. He specializes in Comic Book Illustrations and is currently working on Wolverine Origins for Marvel Comics, Hired Assassins, and A Gun Runner. He has also worked on such titles as Silver Surfer, Mighty Avengers, and Amazing Spider-Man. When Stephen Segovia was in third grade, he really loved reading the Comic Book Funny Komiks. He couldn't afford a five-peso comic at that time though but a friend let him read his copies. His fascination with comics grew and pretty soon he was sending portfolios to publishing companies in the late 1990's. At the age of 16 was hired by Funny Komiks writing and illustrating the anthropomorphic “Tomas en Kulas", which is no longer in publication. He worked at Funny Komics for 6 years. After the hits and misses, Stephen Segovia finally caught the eye of big time publishers. 

Some of the Comic Book projects Stephen Segovia has worked on include CAST of Nautilus Comics in his native Philippines and Shadowmance for U.K. publisher Markosia. In the United States, he has contributed to such titles as Top Cow's Tokyo Knights and M.I.T.H. ; Dynamite Entertainment's Red Sonja, Battlestar Gallactica and Witchblade: Shades of Gray; Harris Vampirella; DC's Countdown to Mystery; Marvel's Wolverine: Origins, Wolverine: Manifest Destiny, Mighty Avengers, Dark Wolverine, Silver Surfer and recently Ultimates vs Ultimates Avengers with Leinil Yu. Dynamite Entertainment and DC Comics. Marvel Comics then hired him after he finished his contract under Glasshouse Graphics. Now days he is drawing Dark Wolverine for Marvel and Reign in Hell for DC Comics. The artwork of Stephen Segovia is currently credited in 340 separate Comic Book issues.
