Tricia Buchanan-Benson has always wanted to be an artist. At 11 years old she wrote a letter to Walt Disney asking what it took to become an animator. The fact that Disney actually wrote back with the advice and information she was seeking only made Tricia Buchanan-Benson's dreams easier to achieve. Graduating Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Film, there was no Animation degree available at that time, was soon discovered at an animation seminar when she was asked to test as an artist for "The Simpsons" TV show. Before the day was over, she was asked to join the team and, needless to say, Tricia Buchanan-Benson has never looked back.

Tricia Buchanan-Benson has also created artwork for King of the Hill and Dilbert in addition to her delightful Disney creations. From her studio in Los Angeles, she creates art for several different licensed properties including Disney, Lucasfilm and Chuck Jones. Tricia works in a variety media, such as acrylic, watercolor and digital, and is influenced by animation greats, such as Chuck Jones and Marc Davis, as well as the Art Nouveau movement and impressionism. She is known for her skill of capturing the true emotions of every subject she paints. Her art has been on display at theme parks and galleries worldwide.
